The 48-hour build, design reviews before anything gets cut, shop certification in your first month, and the industry night where Carolina engineering alumni come back and come back to hire. This is where a first internship usually starts, and it is the reason to turn up in week one rather than week nine.

Intake is in September, and you do not need a company to apply, only a team that wants to keep going after the semester ends. Two companies are in the programme this semester, which is the point: it is small on purpose and every team gets the room.

Grants, investors and pitch competitions for student teams, curated by our people and checked against the source. It is a separate, login-gated application - nothing on this page reads from it and it holds no public data. Members sign in with their Carolina account.

There is no application and there are no dues. Turn up to a build night, get put on a team, and get certified in your first month. If you would rather look first, the listserv is one email a week and nothing else.
